The fine jewelry company launches digi-physical NFT diamond earrings with Digital Twin.

Digital Twin, built on the Ethereum network, is launching its Genesis NFT drop – a unique pair of “limitless” earrings that exist in both the digital and physical worlds. These Very Peri 18k gold and enamel diamond earrings exclusive to L’Dezen will be auctioned in collaboration with Digital Twin.

Digital Twin founders Adrianna and Natalie Soto-Wright are twin sisters on a mission to bring NFTs to a wider audience of artists and collectors. The 24-hour genesis auction on March 10 will be named ‘Unlimited’ on the occasion of Women’s History Month.

The purpose of this drop is to encourage more women to enter the NFT space. Today, only 16% of NFTs on the market can be traced back to female artists. It’s time to change that by encouraging women artisans and traditional collectors to experience physical and digital NFT utility. Ten percent of auction proceeds will be donated to the Global Widows Fund, in addition the auction winner will be reimbursed for all gas costs.

“It is much easier to enter this space when you can associate your NFT with a tangible good, and that is exactly what we are doing by offering our collectors the possibility of exchanging their NFT for a physical property. We are also thrilled that the earrings are designed exclusively for Digital Twin and will never be created again,” say co-founders Adrianna and Natalie Soto-Wright.

Payal Shah, a woman-led NFT projects enthusiast and founder of L’Dezen, explains that “there is not a single woman in the world who does not invest in jewelry because it is a form of your signing style. For me, the most authentic expression of L’Dezen is self-celebration and mutual upliftment: each of us supporting and investing in each other – which applies to both to jewelry and NFTs.

Fine jewelry is another medium of art that has been collected and passed down between generations. By owning a piece of jewelry on the blockchain, we can now imagine a world where NFTs highlight the provenance of the product. This creates security for the collector and the brands who can guarantee the authenticity of their work.
